No School on Monday!

Hi guys! Hopefully someone will be checking our blog this weekend. I'm so excited that it snowed over the weekend, but I wanted to remind you to read your novels on your day off tomorrow. Remember, all novels should be finished by January 8th!

Winter Concert by Erica Hubert

The Winter Concert is going to be awesome it is going to be at Laytonsville Town Hall. All the people in chorus are coming and so is the FAKE Santa who is coming in a fire truck. So I hope you come to it with your family and sing carols with the chorus. Also he will throw out candy to the little kids it is going to happen this Saturday at 7:30.I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and a Awesome Winter Break!

This week and last week for social studies we read half of Father White's journal because Mrs. Hudson would not stop talking about the big fight betwen Thomas Jefferson and John Adams! My favorite soccer team Real Mugirid lost aganst Barcelona! oh ya! Before I forget HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

P.E. IS FUN by. Megan Freshley

On Thursdays we go to PE. It's really fun because we get to play games. We play Multiple Football where you run and go over and throw the ball to a person. I like it because I like to throw balls. It's a really awesome game!
Next week is Thanksgiving week. I'm going to my aunt's house. She lives in Laytonsville. My aunts, cousins, Grandma and my family will be there!

This week we have the book fair and we can go tomorrow I get to get books.It was my birthday november 3rd. I love historical fiction because I love hearing stuff that happened along time ago.wedsday was Veteran's Day and there were high school students that joined ROTC that were here. They had fake guns the spinning team and the navy team were performing. I'm in chours, and I got to sing all the songs. I'm sitting in a cheetah skined chair; I use it for blogging.

Ms. Hudson is out sick Tuesday

Hi class!

I just wanted to let you know that I will be out sick on Tuesday. I have a really bad headache and a little sore throat. I don't think I am contagious, but I wanted to stay home tomorrow to rest so that I don't give you my germs! You know how I am about germs.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and I'll see you Wednesday.

The good news is now that we are in the new marking period, everyone has straight A's again!

Agricultrural Farm Park

On Monday we went to the Agricultrural Farm Park. We had so much fun and we learned so much. One thing we learned was that a bottle of soda has sixteen cups of sugar in it and that there are five food groups. Also we got to pet all kinds of animals. Like cows, goats, miniture horses, and pigs. All fourth graders went to the farm and also some parents. The goats names were Carson and Kit. Carson is a boy and Kit is a girl. The miniture horses names are m&m and skittles. They were both girl horses. These horses do not get ridden because they are mini. We also played this game were you had either a can with fruits or a box of food and you would put them in the box, that was under its title. For the game they split you up in three different groups. The three titles are Grains, Dairy, and Fruits/Vegetables. My team got second place. When we had to leave I was so sad. I hope I go again soon. - Kelly Williams

Weekend be wonderful or else I will shout!!! My cousins are coming over because their mom is running a marathon in front of hundreds of people. My cousins are sleeping over. This is only the third time in my life that I have seen them. My cousins are Jake and Hannah. Jake is 9 and Hannah is 12. They used to live in Florida, but now the live in Tennessee. We are going to go to Washington DC to watch my aunt run the race.

Math Night by Zack Vargas

Tonight is math night. I can't wait for all the fun games, and that's coming from
me. This day is going to rock. I love this cumfy blogging chair. I think math
night is a great way for people to become a smarty pants. Just remember, if

Lunch & Recess

I always look forward to lunch and recess. Not that I don't like school (but I'm not a big fan of math) . At recess today we were playing four square and it turned into a dance party! At lunch I normally sit with Kendall, Kelly, Megan, Zack, and Tewo. We have so many crazy adventures. I feel bad that Ms. Hudson can't come to lunch or recess. Ms. Hudson is REALLY NICE.

My dad and I went too.

Ms. Hudson likes the Miami Dolphins because she thinks they're great. I like the Pittsburgh Steelers because they won 6 superbowls. Heinz Ward is one of the best receivers they have. I like them because my dad grew up in Pittsburgh. I like the part when Holmes made the touchdown catch in the superbowl. I liked when number 92 on the Steelers ran 100 yards in the superbowl. One of my friends likes the Patriots. His name is Tewo. Two of my other friends like Green Bay and the Eagles.

Welcome to 4th Grade

Hello Fourth Graders! Mr. Pile, Mr. Cheripka, Mrs. Pierre, and I are so excited to meet you at Open House. This blog will hopefully help us communicate information to you as the year goes on. I am just learning how to blog and I am very excited about it. I can't wait for you to help me update this page during the school year.
